What’s working well?
The focus on my subject came out great in this photograph. I was able to leave the foreground unfocused, which leads into my focused subject, which in this case was Emma. I also think it worked well by cutting off part of Emma’s face, which leaves it more up to the viewer to decide what emotion that they want this photograph to have. There is still an emotion being portrayed through the photograph. Perhaps it is longing ness for someone or something, but by leaving out Emma’s face you can’t tell whether it is more of a happy feeling or sad.

Improvements/ wishes

I wish I had been able to put Emma in a clearer focus. Other than that I am very pleased of the outcome of my photo.

Where do you go from here?

I think the next time I go to photograph I need to pay attention more to focusing what I want to have focused in my photograph. Also exploring more depth of field.
