What I'm good at

3.1
I'm liking my new project which will be about the history of the Mets. I was getting bored thinking about religion because after a while I just kept on repeating from myself. Religion is subjective, and is bias. I want to do something that isn't biased ans something viewers as well as my self can learn from. I'm passionate about baseball and my favorite team is the Mets, so this is a good change for me. I'm happy with my new topic "The History of the Mets." I intend on learning a lot and also finding things so others could learn from and find interesting as well.

I'm learning more about the Mets right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: What is the history of the Mets baseball team? As I was reading I found a quote. The quote was “If the Mets can win the World Series, the United States can get out of Vietnam” - Tom Seaver. This caught my attention because I thought that this was an interesting quote by Tom Seaver. It relates to the time period as well as the development and growth of the Mets. Tom Seaver is one of the greatest MLB pitchers of all time and to hear him say this is enjoyable. Tom Seaver is encouraging and motivating the country as well as motivating and encouraging his fellow team members and fans. I think that this is a great quote and is definatly historic. The quote makes me wonder about exactly what year the quote was said. Was it said before the Mets won the world series of after the Mets won the world series? Also, when and where did Tom Seaver say this? There are a lot of unsolved questions that I have. Why did Tom Seaver decide to compare baseball with a war going on?

I'm learning more about the Mets right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: What is the history of the Mets baseball team? I have a quote from my Mets calendar, "Derek Wallace was the first Mets pitcher to strikeout four batters in an inning..." This is a very intersting quote in my opinion because it makes me think, how can someone strike out four hitters in one inning? That's insane in my opinion. My project would be full of information that teaches people of the game of baseball as well as the history of the Mets and information about the Mets as a team. I found this quote interesting becaus it is on my Mets calendar which has quotes and mini quiz questions for me to look at. I thought that this quote was interesting and wanted to share it.

The picture that I chose is the Mets logo. It relates to the Mets the most because it's their logo and has been that way for over fifty years. I cannot think of any other image that relates to the Mets more than their own logo. I love the Mets logo and the colors of it. I think it's a nice logo and the designing flows well. It also doesn't look like it was made in the past but it doesn't look like it was made in the future. What I'm trying to say is that it doesn't look old, but it doesn't look new. It will never look outdated.

I love the New York Mets, they are my favorite baseball team. I've liked them ever since I started watching baseball when I was younger. Ever since, I could not stop watching baseball, my love for baseball only grew. I watch about 100-120 games a year. I think 120 out of 162 is a decent amount. Lately, I haven't been watching a lot since I have loads of school work to do. I hope to go to Citi Field in the summer, from what I have seen it looks amazing.

I like the fact that you already have a lot of information on your topic. It shows how ineterested you really are. The Mets Logo fits the criteria, but why did you go with the Mets Logo and not with something like their mascot? Was there a reason or you just picked the first picture you saw? Overall I like that you basically answered all of my questions about the Mets in your first couple of paragraphs and they were well organized and easy to understand.

Mission 4.4

I really like your picture of the Mets Logo sign thing. Even though I don't watch as much games as you do, I enjoy watching baseball at times. And I like the Mets too- better than Yankees.... Anyways. I like how you said that the Mets logo won't ever look outdated because of its fancy designs. Even though only three colors are being used in this logo, the design and the way it's formatted really helps to make the logo look more fresh and cool. Why do you think they designed it this way? Good post, I think. Not too sure, but whatever. Bye.

I like the idea of a logo

I like the idea of a logo that never gets old, and truthfully it doesn't look like its over fifty years old. It's funny how the right designs and the right color combinations have the ability to turn something so simple into something so new and refreshed. I really like the image of the bridge on the logo, and the city in the background, it shows symbolic importance and such and such. :]
