All because of this.....

When I got home I was grounded for four months ,forbidding from going to Deysi's quince and canceled my internet and a week later gave the computer to my grandmother to safe hold until the four months were up(ironic wasn't it when my mothers mother refused to return it.

In the end I could help but wonder, why? Why did I cut? And I know this is going to sound really stupid but here it goes this is my why. I wanted to cut because I’d never done it before, so my logic was try it and see what all the fuss is about and well as it turned out NO!!! IT WAS NOT FUN. A couple of hours of fun weren’t worth the consequences not by a long shot.

Cutting school is not fun, not to mention that it's extremely dangerous especially when in Manhattan. Many people tend to think my witless and I have to agree, I however still firmly stick to my story I wanted to try it, I tried it I didn’t like it so end of story I don’t really see why this needs to be mentioned ….like every again, but still at least I can see that what I did was stupid,

I was into the second month of the no computer deal, and it sucked it was terrible i had to go to the library at 6PM and wait 20 to 30 min until one was available and then to what i had to do in an hour. I couldn’t talk to my friends I couldn't make plans or IM people when my mother wanted me off the phone. No more youtube or itunes it felt like all my friends were out there in the light and I was stuck in the dark, worst part? Well my friend Sandra was throwing a party and guess where the invites were coming through E-MAIL and you can't get e-mail if you don’t have your internet so i was screwed. I decided to talk to Sandra about it and ask her to make an exception pleased with my decision i went ahead and dialed her number.
 

Hey Sandra "que mas?(what's up) it's Kathy"

"Oh hey girls, nada just chillin...yo you coming  to ma party right?"

"That's what i was calling you about, 'cuz you see i got this problem"

"Oh iight shoot"

"...I have no computer'

" ...Oh snap ya moms still ODing 'bout that?"

"Yep"

"So how are you going to get an invite?"

"That's what I’m calling you for, i was wondering is there anyway you could make an exception and just make me one?"

"Nah son, sorry I really want you to come but, everybody will bug out if they find out that someone's getting special attention"

"Oh, um well that's ok then."

"I really am sorry, Nina"

"No cool. Don't worry about it."

"Well alright then girly, I’ll talk to you some other time OK? You behave and take care, iight later."

"'iight"

Well wasn't that just a bummer what the hell was I going to do now? This was entirely mothers fault god, she just couldn't calm her self down and think of a better punishment ? I had it!!!!!.....again smiling ruefully I decided to work it through, ok i lied yeah nothing worked out my butt was stuck home on the 22nd of feburuary while most of my friends went to Sandras party. Needless to say though that it all worked out and I lived happily ever after…..well ok not quite but I’ve always want to say that.

In the end you have to remember that your actions really do have consequences think before you act cliché I know, but for an very obvious reason because it’s works it’s good sound advice. Try to listen to adults don’t do it too often or they’ll think that something is seriously wrong with you, but hey every once in a while won’t kill you, just pay attention on little thing’s like safety and protection, you know the little stuff.
