Always Running is satisfying

Early in the book he talks about how he stayed in the garage and not attend school. But after that his mother decided to call his old principle from elementary school to talk to him. After all that his dad made a plan which was for him to get up at 4:30 am to travel 40 miles away with him to where he worked and enroll him to taft high school that was near the college where his dad worked at. He was in 3 classes which were print shop, auto shop, and weight training. He stopped going to taft due a strike that lasted a couple of months. After all that he roamed the streets but caught a habit of going to the library. He recalled going to the restaurant with some friends and not paying so a few men grabbed him and called the police. Before the police came he explained his reasons and living conditions to the owner and he felt bad so he dropped the charges. He talks about how he was hanging around a youth center and they have hima job but he was suppose to go back to school in return. He also spoke also spoke about getting into boxing and learning to hit heavy bags, speed bags, and do the jump rope. After all that he went to a tournament and lost because he was knocked down.

I am satisfied with the book Always Running by Luis J Rodriguez because new things are going on in the book that don't involve too much crime. An example of what i mean is on page 139 it states “sometimes i roamed the streets with nothing to do and ended up in a library”. I think this important because it shows that he is catching interest on new things that are no negative. In addition i can see that he is going to start growing smarter from that point on.

Something interesting that happened on page 139 “I also learned not to be angry with my father. I learned something about my father's love, which he never expressed in words, but instead, at a great risk, he gave me the world of books-a gift for a lifetime”. This is important to the plot because he is used to doing negative things and this shows that he has been maturing to have a change of mind like that. This is very surprising because he never was like that before this chapter.

I am looking forward to reading the book because i can see that new changes are going to happen in his life. Also it seems that he is getting his priorities reorganized in his life. My predictions is that he will start going to school and start concentrating on his future.
