While I was reading the book Americans Dragons by Laurence Yep I finished the first chapter and I am reading the next one. The last book of the first chapter is really good and that will be the subject of this literature log. the name of the excerpt of the book is Who's Hu by Lensey Namioka.

I think that the book called American Dragons, by Laurence Yep is a great book. It is because the last story called "Who's Hu?" by Lensey Namioka talka abut a girl that loves math and can't affor to fail a Stern Exam. I think that the book is a bit good in a way that it has an Asian perspective. It's good and fun to read.

A passage from page 61 that seems important is: "I was a permanent misfit in America." I think that this is outrageous because why would a women call her self permanent misfit. Even though she is not Amercian and different to other people she can still live in truth.

Another part that I liked was: "Kim entered in my mind. He could not afford to give classical music, for he owed it to himself not to squander his talent." I think that this is a good quote because this guy Kim is right why would yu ruin a good talent if you can make it as your talent and use it to be successful in life.

I am looking foward to reading all the chapters of the book and finishing it. I'd also like to read the whole book because it contains a lot of good works from Asian authors and poets
