American Dragon Literature Log

American Dragon is pretty cool. Laurance Yep really knows how to pulls stories together and make then interesting enough for everyone to read,no matter if you going through the same situation or not.

I think American Dragon, by Laurance Yep is very compelling because it keeps your attentions with not only the stories,but with poems as well.

A passage from pages "For my Father" that seems important is: "We sole berries from the stem,we could not afford them for breakfast" I think this is cool because maybe in this poem there trying to say at a time they couldn't afford these things and depended on their father for it.

Another part that I liked was: "His eyes held nothing as he whipped us for stealing." This is an example of something important in this book. It shows he didn't want his children doing the same thing he did later.

What's probably going to happen next is  more stories or poems being told.

I <am looking forward to reading the rest of this book because. the book gets more interesting as you read on.
