Anders Broman scores 71
Rarely, in this day and age, do athletes make the news for losing, but that is exactly what junior basketball star did on Saturday night in a loss. Broman became the youngest player in Minnesota state history and has already caught the attention of various schools like Virginia Tech, Northwestern, and San Diego State. Broman scored 47 of his 71 in the second half to help lead his team back from a 16 point deficit and was able to help them eventually tie the game before losing in overtime. Broman's younger brother Bjorn helped his brother reach this remarkable feat by dishing out 14 assists to him in a Steve Nash-like fashion. Anders shot an incredible 67 percent from the field that night and also hit 8 three pointers to account for 24 of his eventual 71.
