Battle of Apples To Apples v.s Ayiti: The Cost Of Life

Not all games are the same. Some are video games, computer games, card games, card games, sports games, and educational games played for fun. Others seem to be designed to get people to learn. they are trying to get people to think faster in games like Brain Age. While some are played simply to get people to work out. Whatever game it is, the goals are always the same they are just to entertain you or make the things you need to do more interesting. I enjoy playing games just for entertainment. I think the games that are made for learning are just not as fun.

I enjoy playing action games or board games from time to time. I don't really have a favorite game or game genre because I have many favorite games in many different genres and there are many types of games that I haven't tried and there are many more being created as i speak. I enjoy playing many different games, some are Apples to Apples, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Monopoly, and Castle Crashers. Anything and everything that is simple, easy to play, and a game that can be enjoyed with family or friends is a game that I would play. I love to win(doesn't everyone),and to have fun.I love to win because it gets me excited and makes me want to play more. I also really like just relaxing and having fun with friends or family. I enjoy knowing that I'm one step closer to becoming a pro at the game. If I happen to lose, I do what any other player would do. I tell myself that there is always a next time. I come back to the game even after i lose because it is so fun. Apples to Apples is putting together a puzzle, because you have to put together the cards to create something the person will like.

Recently, I've been spending some time playing the game Ayiti: Cost of Life. This is a game in which you have to take care of a Hatian family. The goal of the game is to get the family through four years in Haiti. This is a goal easier said than done. It is hard because either the family gets sick and die, they become poor and die, or they get depressed stop working become poor and die. By the end of the game, if you are lucky enough to make to the end of the four years, then you will hopefully have a happy Haitian family.

The first time you play the game, you get frustrated and are confused. You would probably feel this way because the game is a bit confusing and the family members keep dying. It really isn't until the third or fourth time when the game starts to get repetitive that you truly realize how you can get the family through all four years. Also, you see which strategies get you through the game without dying. You begin to understand later on that this is how some Haitian people live and start to fell sorry for them.

There are times when you are playing this game that you want to quit. You don't want to go on because the game seems so hard and almost impossible to win. You get over the feeling bad because you aren't winning and just keep on playing. But you keep going because you want to get that family through those 4 years. So you keep playing, keep trying. Trying to keep the family happy and alive. You want to get past the four years and keep the family alive. you would accomplish this by first choosing the right strategy. Then you put them to work or in school and make sure they are happy, healthy, and have enough money. Ayiti is a family member because you have to take care of the people and it is something you feel bad for.
