Chris,I really like how you listen to all kinds of music! I think when a person listens to music,it gives them a wide variety of choices that that can apply to anything they feel. I know when you listen to paramore,you feel emo (you thought I didn't about you),but on the other hand,when you listen to Artists such as Prima J or Coldplay,your in a chipper mood.I find that music for you,and for everyone,is a form of expression,so keep on with the screamo my friend. I really like your choices for bands they are really good i listen to them too and that is really cool aint it i really just like the band lol but yeah it still good and yes it is music and alot of things can represent music and it means alot to me it explains everything about anything so yeah lol

 I like toy essay The Screamo\Emo Group because it is about music and i love music. I listen to anything that is good doesn't matter what ganra it is from. I think songs say a lot and some songs are really meaningful and some are just bad.

   I loved your message, "Are You Sure This Is Music?" because to me music is my whole life. I can not live without music. How can anyone live without music? If you can then you must not be a human being!! Everyone has to love music because without music their would be nothing to entertain you and this whole world would be so boring. To me without music I wouldn't be able to live at all, I wouldn't even be here right now. If i didn't have music I would just kill myself people. Do you not understand how music is really important to me!! If someone takes away my music or anything or steal my favorite songs I would flip out.

When I feel pain and sorrow I listen to the sadest songs and everything and like breakup songs and I start crying. You can call me a baby all you want because to tell you the truth I am a really emotional person, so I cry easily. I love to express my emotions and feelings to people because I want them to know who I really am inside. Music describes my personality and MUSIC IS THE CREATION OF LIFE!!

   Your story reminds me of something that happened to me. One time I was really upset and not really in the mood and I didn't really know what to do. I just wanted to kill myself and everything and hoping I would die right now and not live anymore. I thought to myself what is the point of me living? Do I deserve to be here and everything? I thought about all the negative things you can think of. Then I realized that I needed music. Music was the key to take my pain and sorrow all away, so I started listening to music and when I listen to music people, just to tell you I blast my music, and I think each and everyone of you blast your music too. Who wouldnt? When I started listening to the music I felt much better and I didn't think of the negative things anymore. I felt like living again and I realized live for the things you really love and live for one reason only and that one reason is live for the one you truly love in your heart. Most definitely!! Music is probably the best medium ever. When i say medium,i mean its like a channel for all your emotions and you do some serious venting if your really upset. It doesnt even have to be in words,its just really more of a physical venting. You could call that dancing if you want to but yeah. You talk about the song "misery loves its company" and how from then on,you started picking songs from more of a lyrical standpoint and thats awesome and i really should start doing that because honestly,im really a "beat" guy,if it doesnt sound good...i dont like it. I think i can speak for everyone when I say that but you can seriously learn alot from lyrics....i mean there are some songs that really make me think or give me a picture with their lyrics. Its like i am literally in a diffrent country or region. It feels so good....but its weird when you listen for so long and then you take it off....and everything seems to stop. Do you feel that way cause i know i do. Its pretty scary. On my ipod,I have favorites from since i was like 14. I still listen to those songs,once in a while I get bored and search for some new songs and when i find one,i pat myself on the back first of all because everytime i search for one i find one and i thank myself for it and also.....i get this new feeling when i find a new song. Everything is starting all over again and it feels great. I listen to that song for hours and hours but not to long cause then something about it starts to change. Somedys i go through my whole list in matter of minutes because sometimes i listen to a song for a couple of seconds and then bam i change again. I dont know its weird.

 I love music too. Its a big part of my life. Its like for every problem and every mood, you have a song to listen to. And you are right every time someone creates a music they complete a puzzle piece. My favorite band is paramore. :)

 Well I like Paramores music it's rock but it can be touchy .  I especially like their new song "Thats What You Get". But I love music I am even trying to take a guitar, piano, drums, and the violin. I listen to music like 24/7!

I know that music is a huge part of my life because Im always doing something related with music Whether it is listening to it or writing or trying to play music. I especially love anything  that can relate to my life at the time- mostly they are Taylor Swift songs- but there are many more- emo music for when I am sad or depressed, Taylor Swift for love songs and heart break remedies - she kinda like my role model- her strength is amazing if I were going through anything she was going through I would surley die. Music is my life, I cannot deny it- when i cant talk to my friends about something, music is my best friend, it lets the feeling i have bottled up in me out- gives me stregnth and comfort, love and understandment. I can't really find word to describe music, but I think that music is just wonderful, with music I can be myself- I don't need to worry about what others say, and to me music isn't my hobby, its my life and there is a huge difference in that. i totally agree with u!!!! music is awesome!!!!!! i love emo music (rock,scremo,etc) i think its really amazing. Some people in my school say that its scary lol but i think its really awesome. i like both emo and regular type of music (hip-hop,rap,pop,etc)

I really liked this because music is my life. Whatever mood I'm in, be it happy, sad, angry, etc., is what type I will listen to. I have every kind of genre on my iPod, and lots of music in each, and I have listened to every song. Every song has it's own meaning, and I really appreciate every kind of music.

I am very excited for this post "Are You Sure This Is Music?" because all of it is true. I personally love screamo bands. I'm into strong guitar and bass playing in screamo music. For example one of my favorite bands is Asking Alexandria, and most of their songs i can actually relate too. I believe screamo is noisy but the lyrics make sense, not like other types of music in which they don't make sense in any of the lyrics or throughout the whole song.

I loved your post “Are You Sure This Is Music?” because I totally agree with you. Screamo is my favorite type of music as well, and I think many people view it negatively. Screamo in my opinion is a very unique type of music, and expresses many emotions. One sentence that stands out for me is: “People usually say that Scremo is noisy and and very annoying, but I oppose because it might sound crazy, but the lyrics make sense to me and I like the composing of the music.” I find this extremely true because Screamo lyrics do have a lot of meaning. Most people think people in Screamo bands only sing about death and things like that, when in reality thats not true. Most Screamo bands sing about their emotions, and their “screaming” really emits the passion of the song.

Another sentence that I loved was: “One day you can try not to be yourself and listen to music you never heard because maybe then you can find something new.” This stood out to me because many people are quick to judge before actually trying out a new type of music. They want to listen to other peoples opinion instead of there own.

Your post reminds me of something that happened to me. Last year I really wanted to hear a new type of music, and Screamo was something I was interested in. However, I didn't know where to start. My boyfriend is really into Screamo music, so he put a bunch of songs into my mp3. Because of him, I was introduced to my favorite band ever, Alesana.

I like to listen to Dubstep and not a lot of people know it but I am one of those people who do and loves it. One sentence that stands out for me is: "People usually say that Screamo is noisy and very annoying, but I oppose because it may sound crazy, but the lyrics make sense to me and I like the composing of the music." I question the lyrics. I do ask how can you understand them if the whole song is just some one screaming into a microphone. The way you can probably learn the lyrics is if you search them up. I think people just like it because of how it all comes together with the drums and all that.

This stood out for me because music is diverse, and that is another point about why people never get sick of listening to it. There is always something new in music. I am very interested about your your post “Are you sure this is music” because it is good to see that someone knows the true meaning of screamo. Most people look at it as a major headache or just annoying. They are just judging without even considering to understand and feel what is happening. Many are different though because some are not able to understand its main message.

It is the best but depressing feeling in the world. Without music, I do not know how my feelings will ever be released.

Rock music defines me. I listen to punk rock bands like Black Veil Brides and Asking Alexandria. A lot of people think that the bands that I listen to aren't real music. Rock music is true music. The genre is about doing what you want with your life, and having fun with it despite the fact that people will try to bring you down. To me, that's real music. I don't consider Justin Bieber as a musician. I consider Andy Biersack one. In Andy's songs, he sings lyrics that I can relate to-being bullied, picked on, persecuted, and teased because of the way I look and the way I dress, as opposed to the person I am.

I do strongly agree with you that “the music that I listen to, usually has very meaningful lyrics.“ One reason I say this is because in my opinion all songs have meaningful lyrics, some more than others, it just takes the person some time to really get a good understanding of the lyrics. All lyrics have a story behind it. Another reason I agree with you is because sometimes people listen to music for the fun of it but when they get to certain moods and listen to music, that's when they really start to understand the meaning of a song’s lyrics.

I enjoyed your article. I loved when you said, "When I listen to screamo, anger, pain, and sorrow are released from my system." I don't exactly listen to screamo. I listen to more Punk Rock. When I listen to my favorite bands, like Black Veil Brides, and 30 Seconds To Mars, it takes all the emotions I feel, and let them out, which is what I do when I write lyrics. I think its great that you have such a passion for music! I do as well, and although I love to listen to music, playing it is my true passion. My piano is something I couldn't live without. I play it religiously, and its become an outlet for over the years that I've learned to play it. I love knowing that it is always there for me to channel my emotions. I have found that I play certain pieces with my different emotions. When I'm having a hard time, I always have a cheery Concerto to turn to, and when I'm happy as ever I play a little Chopin!
