Autism - Change.org: Nature or Nurture?

Well i think that it has more to with nurturing. I mean think about it,there is a clich'e that boys are usually the more rough ones and they are dominant and like to mess around alot, this in turn shows why guys like to play alot of football sometimes. You ahve those fratboys who are always tackling each other and stuff. Now when you get koncked around like that alot ,it really has an effect on your brain. Autism is a mental disorder. See the connection? Tjis is just a guess,i am not sure.
Does nature or nurture play a dominant role in explaining the 4 to 1 ratio of autism in male children vs. female children? In other words, what explains the occurrence of autism at a much higher incidence in male children than in female children? Anything to do with mothering patterns?
