The Autobiography of Malcolm X

This book about the life of Malcolm X is really getting interesting.I didn't know that Malcolm X had to go through all of these hardships as a kid. It is unbelievable that as your house burns down the firemen and the policemen that are supposed to come to your rescue watch it burn down as you watch in horror as your house it being torn apart by the flames. I found it funny that his mother was more educated then his father and every time she back talked him she would get beat by him. That is crazy, I guess she makes him feel like a idiot but he is the pastor of a church so why does he care whether his wife is more educated then him.

I related to the story when he said that most of his beating came from his mother. When I was a kid most of beating came from my mother. I think that happens because the father always has something to do so they resort to talking to you but since the mother is never always busy she has time on her hands to beat you.

I am really starting to like this book The Autobiography of Malcolm X, By Malcolm X and Alex Haley because I can really relate to the story. If I can relate to the story then I can really read the book and get in to it.
