If CRI is a non-governmental organization, they they really shouldn't have any say in the matter of punishment. They can roll up a petition but until it is passed, it isn't anything. Also, this is in GHANA. There rules are different there, different country, different laws.
Child Rights International, a non-governmental organization, is calling for a strictly enforced national legislation or policy that bans corporal punishment in schools across the country.
