The Big Field By: Mike Lupica
I finished the book The Big Field by: Mike Lupica and I really liked it. This book was very interesting and it made me think about all of the stars in every team, every league. This ShortStop Hutch was over looked when D-Will came on the team. D-Will was automatically named the star of the team and so than everybody looked at D-Will as the star and that he would lead his team to a championship. Hutch doesn't like that he's being over looked and he wants top prove everybody wrong. When they make the finals they fall into a hole are are behind in the game. Than Hutch gets on base for D-Will. It's a do or die situation for D-Will. He swings and it's...... I would recommend this book to all teenagers who are into sports especially if they're into baseball. This book is very important because it has many lessons with it although the one superior one is that no sport is about one player and Hutch proves this in the Championships. It was such a long and difficult ride for Hutch but he was able to pull it off and become friends with D-Will. They play together and that's the important part in this book. Although they go through hard times they always stick together and play as a team and that's why they won

Would you recommend this book
Would you recommend this book to any sports fan or just specifically a baseball fan? I like sports books in general but I am really a die hard basketball fan. Would you still recommend this book to me or no? Based on what you wrote it seems like you were really interested in this book. Especially since it is by Mike Lupica it should be good and very accurate when it comes to sports.
