I'm learning more about personality right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: How do the living of actual people with personality disorder? As I was reading in my Google Reader, this blog post caught my attention because it introduced a book "Switching Time", which is about a woman who has seventeen different personalities in her. And this book showed how the woman overcome her disease and what she thought during she had this sickness.

The quote I chose here is basically saying the abuse of Karen, the patient, who slowly remembers her experience is horrific, and she bears the physical as well as mental scars that bear witness to the events, no matter how awful it seems.

I think this is strong because not so many people would understand how hard to overcome and while having personality disorder. Although I haven't read this book, I can feel how hard she was to recover the illness. It makes me wonder people should care more about those people who have personality disorder, as they may have problems and sufferances which we will never understand unless we have the same experiences. I am going to read this book as I want to know more about this girl and her experience, but also those people who are suffered from personality disorder.
