Bringing Out The Child Within You
In the 10th grade I am going to create a Personal Project in school. The project is going to be about people acting their age and not trying to act mature just because other people look down on acting your age. I'm interested in this topic because I think that people try to act way too mature for their age and because tehy try to act too mature they never have a chance to experience teh beauty of being a kid and going loose. In some way I think I've always been interested in this topic and had it planned but didn't know how to categorize it. What inspired me to do my project on this topic was a personal experience where i wasn't invited to go somewhere with a group of people because they thought i was too childish, but at first I was bothered by this category but I eventually learned that I'd rather be childish and have fun with people like me then to try an act mature with a group of people who were nothing like me. What I think I'm going to learn over the course of this year is that everyone has a kid side

FEEDBACKKKKK: I think you should mention how not everyone acts mature. Also, you should explain why people shouldn't act too mature because sometimes being mature is a good thing.

I continued to read my book
I continued to read my book about creativity and what I've learned so far is that people have a different point of view about creativity and that it can be interpreted in different ways. The way this relates to my topic is because since my topic involves the idea of bringing out the child within you and revealing the kid side within you I think that creativity takes part in one's kid side because when your younger you're always playing and always usig your imagination and imagination takes part of creativity.

I've been reading the book
I've been reading the book geeks and geezers and so far into the book it doesnt seem as if it's going to help me with my personal project. I say this because the entire book is just dedicated to people who have done important things in society, some of them have to do with politics and my personal project has NOTHING to do with this, but im going to keep reading it because maybe they'll be something that can help me in the end of the book, but who knows.

I think that this is a really good idea because i completely agree with the fact that people these days are trying to act way to mature for their age. I think that it is better to accept who you are and not change yourself because of what people think. I thin that in your project you should maybe talk to a few different people and see what others think about the topic as well. =]

So im reading geeks and geezers and i have to say its pretty irrelevant to my topic it just talks about the accomplishments of politicians and what not, since today is the last day of school before break i think that ill go out and see if i can find anything that has to do more with my topic. Im hoping to maybe find something that has to do with why people try and act mature, and why toomuch of it at a young age is un necessary.

i think your topic is great because when are starting to turn imature they want to an adult but when they are an adult they long to a be chold and i think your topic is great for young kids to see that they should enjoy their youth.

so i started a new book, hoping that it would hae a lot mor eot do with my topic. I'm reading 'chicken soup for the teenage soul: the real deal'. Im hoping that it'll have something to do with growing up and how people do try to act mature. so far in the book it talks about how kids try to be somebody else in order to fit in, which i think i can use in my project. they give alot of statistics about how kids act too.

The Chicken soup for the teenage soul series have a lot of good things for your topic. Especailly the teenage series, they give a lot of stories that tell why they did things and how they were trying be mature because their parents never trusted him alone with his/ her younger siblings. Overall you should be able to find a lot of information for your topic.

I'm still reading the book
I'm still reading the book chicken soup for theteenage soul: the real deal. Its somewhat helpful it has to do with the fact that people feel left out from social groups/ cliques in school. Also how people try to change in order to fit in with their classmates, which has to do with my topic because my topic has to do with people acting different (mature) but i still havent found the reason for it.
That series is really good
That series is really good like i said before, however you shouldn't just limit yourself to reading books there are many good movies you can watch that can help you with your personald project. For example you can watch frredom writers or Prom night and Diary of a wimpy kid. However i think that freedom writers is the best movies you can watch.

Im still reading the same book and I realized that this book doesnt really help me to its full potential, i mean it gives me small statistics but not enough to write my project. I think that I'm going to have to start searching for different things when i got to the library i think i'll keep more of a look out for psychological books.

the book gave me a bunch of stories about students struggling to fit and students changing themselves to meet the approval of their peers. So i guess one of the possile reasonings i could give as to why some kids try to act too mature is because theyre lookng for the approval of other people. but then what i still have to find out is why the people theyre trying to get the approval of try to act mature themselves... to the library again.
