Bud, Not Buddy

RecentlyI just read pages 28 to 45 by Christophter Paul Curtis, and once again it was amazing to read. As always Inever got bored reading accept when he was telling the story with his mother that past, I kept dozing off and day dreaming for some reason.

 

The chapter was about after Bud ran away from his foster home because the way they were treating him, after Bud ran off he tried to get some sleep in a nearby library but could'nt because it was closed so he slept under a tree and next day he went back to the mission. This chapter stand out to me because I see so many things Bud is going through and he still pushing on to seek a better life.

 

Another thing that stand out to me is found on page 41 where Bud states where he get his name and why he never let people call him Buddy. Buds mom told him "Bud is your name and don't you ever let snyone call you anything outside of that either". I think the whole time I was reading this book I was wondering why the title was named Bud Not Buddy and why never allow it.

 

A my mom past away when I was eight, I remember a lot of good times we had and advice she gave me, but I can't give a full story like Bud did in his memior.

 

What I think is going to happen next is when Bud make it back to the mission, he is going to get in a lot of trouble because he left his foster home.

 

I enjoyed reading and as always I am still looking forward in reading this book.
