building a metropalis

Today, I played a game called Electrocity. I found it at http://www.electrocity.co.nz. I got interested in this game because it was like playing sim city or the sims. i really lik those kinds of things like that with the interaction. having al this lives of a nation or town at your hands, its interesting to see how it feels to be like a ruler or president.
Electrocity is about building your own city. the basics are there, you just have to know how to use them, which makes it easier than sim city or anything like that. we dont really deal with the infrastructure of the city. You have to costantly be watching your peoples state of happiness

The game works like this: you are the president of a city. your goal is to attract as many people as possible, the more people the more money your city makes. you can do this by creating attractions and destinations in your city. you cant forget about the poeple who live in your city though. you can also make money by buying coal and gas when its cheep and selling it when its expensive.

In order to be successful, you need to make sure people are happy. if they are not then no one else would come so you need to provide them with entertainment and also education and all the things they need to strive. its so important to have a good clean way to make energy. make sure its efficient.

I would recommend Electrocity to people who are curious to know what it takes for people to be happy. i mean they are people themselves they know, but they dont know how it feels to be the reason why people are happy or unhappy. this gives thm an idea of how things work in a growing society.
