Cell Phones Rules
Cell phones are important to me, because I love to talk, especially to my friends. In think that it's very important to have your friends keep you posted on the latest rumor, and its important for you to do the same.
It was a late Tuesday night, about 12:35 in the morning. I was lying down on my living room couch watching Family Guy on Adult Swim. It was the only thing that was on T.V at that very time. After a while, it got boring, so I picked up the phone and called my friend, me and him haven't spoken for a while so I decided to call him to see what he was up to, and how we had been.
I was so surprised, because he was sleeping when I called him, he never went to sleep around that time. He wasn't really in the mood to talk. He said he had a long day and he was frustrated. So I told him I would call him later. We hung up. Then about five minutes later he called me back and told me that he couldn't fall back to sleep, I told him that I was sorry for waking him, he laughed and said there was no need to apologize.
We talked for hours. He told me about the new school he was attending and all of the wonderful teachers he had. We laughed and we reminded each other about the fun times we had, but he mostly told jokes. I was surprised that we didn't get tired. When the conversations and laughs quieted down, we made sure we kept each other wake. We stayed on the phone until about 5:30 in the morning.
An hour later we both fell asleep with the phone to our ears. I woke up 2 his snoring. I whispered goodnight although I knew that he was in a deep sleep and couldn't hear me, and hung up the phone. I turned off the television and made my way to my comfortable bed. I expected both of us to sleep late, but we woke up around 8:00, and stayed on the phone for about another 3 more hours.Making late phone calls to your friends is really fun, especially when you know how to entertain one another.
Who doesn't love weekends?I love weekends, no school, you can sleep late, hang out with your friends and because your cell phone minutes are free. You can talk on your cell phone for hours and when your phone bill comes it wouldn't cost you any money. Every weekend me and my friends talk on the phone, we each enjoy the funny things we talk about. I love it so much, because I don't have to hear my mothers mouth every minute of the day telling me that I'm using the minutes.
On the weekends I spend the day in my sanctuary (my room) on the phone talking for hours. I hate to be bothered. The weekends are very special to me. On weekdays, its not so bad, because after 9:00 my minutes are also free, but the weekends are much better, I don't have to wait until after 9:00 to start talking, I can start talking at any hour in the day, that's the very best part about the weekends.
It was a summer day in August, It was a Friday night, I couldn't wait until after 9:00 to pick up the phone and call my best friend, I had a crazy story to tell her, and I just couldn't wait for 9:00 to come. It felt as if time was going by too slow, I guess it felt like this because every second I would glance up at the clock to see what time it was, it was so funny because my sister would tell me that I'm impatient, she would always have to remind that it was important to have patience. I find it very hard for me to be patient, There really isn't any fun in being patient. When 9:00 finally came I called my best friend, an we talked for almost an hour. Weekends are the best time to make phone calls.
I remember it like it was yesterday. My mother took my phone because I ran up the phone bill. I didn't know she didn't have free text messaging at the time. She claims that I made 992 text messages in a week. I really didn't think I made that many, but according to her I did. But she was really mad at me because I made all of those text messages to one number, and it was a boy.
He was a friend of mine, we had so much to talk about so instead of me wasting my minutes on a week day we sent text messages to each other. She also got mad, because I did most of the text messages during school hours, she said I was lucky I didn't get my phone tooken away like the first time. I was so upset with her because I didn't expect her to take away my phone.
I was upset with her for weeks, I didn't talk to her, and I hated being in the same room with her. It's funny because everyone thought I was acting like a little kid, I don't blame them for saying that anymore, because after a while I realized that not only was I acting like a kid, I was acting like a big kid. I soon got over it, it really didn't make sense for me to act like a big kid over something that was not serious. It became so boring for me because I wanted to be able to keep my phone.
I could have used the house phone to talk but, it would have made me even angrier, because every minute someone else would have to use the phone, and I don't like sharing. Check with your mother, about your phone plan, know what's free, and what costs money.

I completly agree with your message " Cell phone rules" because I too have been in a similar situation.My situation was not my fault but I was still blamed anyway.the situation was some hade to my phone and decided to use it with out my permision only be because it had had a full quarty keyboard And Made 200 But had no text plan so it cost me $130 which I had to pay.Since then I had to buy My own phones and Pay for my own bill and if I cant pay it .My father takes the phone from me and keeps it because I like to buy expensive phones.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is "I could Have used the house phone to talk but,it would have made me angrier,because every minute some one else would have to use the phone,and i dont like sharing.I think this stupid because having to wait on some eles is to time consuming and I need the phone now because I said so.

I agree with many things that you wrote. I love talkng on the phone, I love texting, etc. When I was in South Korea, my mom also was mad at me once, because my phone bills was over $90. Anyway, I thought I have many similar experiences with you about the cell phone. I guess most of the teenagers have those experiences.
As I moved to the USA, I don't have a cell phone yet. But I think if I get one, I should check what is free and what costs money as you said. Thank you for many information.

I think that cell phones are the world to all teens. Once again I thank you for commenting on my post, and I hope you comment on some more in the future.
Reminds me of when I had my first cell phone
This is something nice to read :] It reminds me of when I first had my cellphone and know nothing about it expect calling friends and texting. and the next thing you know is parents yelling becuase I over used minutes. It was a pretty bad experience.
Now I always keep on track of my mins used. well Im not a very talktive person. Im more into the shy caterory. so yea tell me some tips to keep a conversation on for hours :]

I liked your message, "Cell Phone Rules" because cells phone do rule!! Cellphones are really important to a lot of people because it helps you communicate with others. With a cell phone you can do so many things. You can listen to music on them, talk, play games and even more. Without my cell phone I am nothing. I wouldn't be able to talk at all to anyone and I wouldn't be able to contact niether of my friends. If my parents take away my phone I would yell and scream at them and say "GIVE ME MY PHONE BACK". No one takes my phone. I treasure my phone a lot. Phones are really important and if you dont think it is important YOU SUCK!!

The reason why I have a cell phone is to talk to my friends, but especially the best of all talk to my LOVER!! Who doesn't love talking on the phone?, because I do. Talking to your friends are a lot of fun and especially when friends cheer you up and make you laugh. You wouldn't want a friend that is BORING, you would want a friend that is entertaining and everything and keeps you from being bored. When talking to your friends you have a lot to talk about and they tell you everything that you want to hear. When I talk on the phone with my friends I usually talk for a long time, but not as long as I talk to my my LOVER Hiba. We talk for hours and hours non-stop. We just have so much to talk about. We just never get bored of talking. If we never get bored of talking on the phone how can you?

I love the weekends!! Weekends are the best, you get to do anything you want and you have two days off from school, meaning no work or anything. On the weekends you get to hang out with your friends and sleep really late as well. But the best thing is cell phone minutes are free on weekends!, so you can talk as much as you want to your friends or anyone else with no charge. Isn't that great? FOR FREEE TOO!! That is just the bomb. Who wouldnt talk all day and night and phone on the weekends because I know I do. I LOVE THE WEEKENDS!! WEEKENDS ARE THE BOMB!! If you don't love the weekends I dont know what to tell you.
Your story reminds me of something that happened to me. One time I remembered when it was on the weekend and I was talking to my lover Hiba all night. Even though if we were tired we still kept on talking. We just didnt want to close the phone, we just wanted to talk to each other. We was talking for hours and hours keeping each other entertained and stuff and making each other smile and laugh. We just never run out of anything to say. The next morning my parents took away my phone because I was talking so much and like I didnt go to sleep and I got really mad at my parents for taking my phone away and yelling at them for my phone back and they wouldnt give it back and they hid it from me and stuff so I wouldnt find it. Without my phone about it SUCKED. Nothing to do and I couldnt talk on the phone. My phone is really important to me.
