Censor Block Sunglasses.

The prospect of Internet censorship caused quite the stir at the beginning of this year. Let's face it, Americans love their Internet. We're essentially hopeless without it. Imagine how many random facts and definitions we would never discover without Wikipedia. It is rather amazing though how hasty Americans are to squash a bill that restricts their Internet freedom, but take other worldly matters as if they don't give a care. However, I'll admit that it would really stink to have 70% of current Google Images not be there. As an artist, I need a lot of references, and Google Images pretty much always has my back on that. SOPA was drowned within a few days of negative uproars, but that didn't stop the government from trying to weasel their way into our World Wide viewing. About two weeks ago, I learned about CISPA, an Internet censorship movement even more lethal than SOPA and PIPA. "Over 100 Members of Congress are backing a bill (CISPA) that would give private companies and the US government the right to spy on any of us at any time for as long as they want without a warrant." Even just the thought of that makes me put a post-it over my webcam and log off of my email. However, if we put a stop to the government's other spying attempts, there's no reason we can't rise up and wave our virtual picket signs for this cause as well!
