Change for the better.

Maria Robinson once said, “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” I strongly agree with this quote. This quote is basically saying that the past is the past and it can never be changed, but we do have control over our future. We have the power to begin a new chapter in our lives. This quote plays a huge role in my life. I’ve regret many things in my life, but it’s not like I can go back in time and change it. The only choice I really have is to move forward and start a new beginning.

I’m happy with the person I’m slowly becoming. I’ve become very aware of the things that go on around me. I think of things in a totally different perspective. Yes, there are some things that will need to be changed, but that’s just something I will be working on. I’m willing to move forward, and forget about the past. It’s the only way I’ll succeed and accomplish my goals.

This spring I will like to start all over and start a new beginning. My goal is to stop being so lazy, and start doing well in school. I know I can do it if I just put in some effort. I’m both motivated and determined to do this. Lazy Greilyn is the old me. It’s about that time I clean up my act and focus on what’s really important.

You can never change your past, you can only move forward and start something new for yourself. Always remember that. Only you can do it. No one else. Do good in school and continue playing Softball is all I want for this time of year. It’s never too late. I believe in myself.
