Chapter 5 Love in Their Eyes Were Watching God
Life is not easy and things happen for a reason. When you listen to your heart and nobody else you will be able to know where you belong. Not everyone is the same and everyone is different in their own unique way. Sometimes people do not follow their dreams and they end up in the wrong path in where they really want to be. If people were to open their eyes, they would be able to see what life really is and also everyone makes mistakes, its not like everyone is perfect.
I like Their Eyes Were Watching God, by Zora Neal Hurston because I believe that Janie is a strong women and a man is not going to be able to control her. She is in her own command of her life and whatever she wants to do with it, she will do. Joe and Janie throughout the book, their relationship has got stronger and more interesting to look upon. Janie fell in love with man that she chose and not with someone that she was forced to love. An example of what I mean is on page 51. "It was early in the afternoon when they got there, so Joe said they must walk over the place and look around. They locked arms and strolled from end to end of the town." I think this is good because Janie did not force herself to love someone and to marry someone because however Joe is the guy she wants to be in her life. Each of these indivisuals are different and they attract one another. Also there was a situation in the book when Janie felt that Joe lost his love for her because of his new opened store.
I am looking forward to reading the best of the book because it is about love and the situation that Janie is going through. I don't know what might happen next, but I am looking towards to finding out.
