The Curious Incident of the Dog in The Night-Time by Mark Haddon is awesome right now (pages 30 - 40). My prediction about the book was correct which means that he did do more on about his dectective work on the murder of Wellington. I think that it's a really dangerous, but very brave thing to find out who really killed Wellington.

One line from this part of the book that stands out for me is: "So I decide for myself what I am going to do and what I am not going to do." I don't think this is very nice because I think that some people have a certain authority over us and I guess that most of the time we have to listen to it and respect it and he's acting like he has no authority. Of course I would understand if he wouldn't like to have an authority, but unfortunately life is full of rules and if we don't follow it, we get in major trouble.

Another line that I thought was attention-grabbing was: "But Mother was cremated." I think that being cremated is not as bad as people think it is. I would love to get cremated once I die and I would like the ashes to be placed in a bottle and given to my family members like my offsprings and my wife.

This section of The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Night-Time reminds me of something I saw in Youth Voices. It reminds me of Walter's post about ghosts because that also has to deal with mystery and stuff like that. I like mysteries and I feel like thay are fun to solve all the time.

What's probably going to happen next is Christopher is finally going to get a clue and get closer to the killer and what has happened to Wellington. I think that Siobhan is gonna go with him on one of his detective works and help him find more information on the dog.

I am looking forward to reading to reading the rest of this book because I want to know who was the killer of Wellington and I want to know how Christopher finds out who killed the dog. I can't wait, but since it's the beginning of the book, I have to read on to find all of this out. =)

I think that Christopher was really brave to find out who killed the dog Wellington because he could have been in danger and in a lot of trouble for being in someone else buisness, but he still did it anyways. I think he is a really nice boy who is just trying to help and everything and to really find out what is going on. I cant wait till I read the rest of the book niether because the book is really interesting to read and now that I know who is the killer of the dog Wellington I just want to find out what is going to happen next.

I seriously agree with you

I seriously agree with you because I don't think his father is being fair by just saying to stop searching for the dog's killer. I think that out of the goodness in his heart Christopher will do all he can after witnessing the dog on the ground dead. I think that if I were Christopher I would do the same and find out who the killer of Wellington is. =)

This book was very appealing to me at first, but then something told me to just ignore it and not read it. I find that you have made me want to read this book and you have made it interesting and full action to me again. Hopefully, I will read this really good book in the future.

I think that Christopher is really brave too. I think he should respect people and what they have to say. Christopher is a really smart boy. I don't think I'll solved any mystery because i kind of suck at doing that. But Christopher actually wanted to and was look forward to it. I think that he would find out who's the murderer is. But i don't think he'll be happy about the killer. It might be someone close to him, or it might not be. I really like this book. I'm glad you liked it too. I hope to see you write about this book more.
