Title: The Curious Incident of the dog in the night-time: Christopher has been going through so much now living with his mother and Mr.Shears. He is afraid of Mr.Shears and always tries to hide from Mr. Shears. His mom tells Christopher that he needs to go back to Swedon to take his classes and study and to do get and get an A on his math classes and to do the right thing when he is over there. Mr.Shears doesnt really want him to stay, but his mother tells him he can stay as long as he wants to. Mr.Shears is being like this because he says that the place is really cramped up and their is no more room.

I think The Curious Incident of the dog in the night-time, by Mark Haddon is important because I think that Christopher would be better off living with his dad and everything and going to school and trying his best in school and working hard. His mom wants him to get an A in his math class and to do good in the future. He needs to live his pet behind because he can't take it with him for what has happened and his mom said that she will take care of it. Even though he has to live with his dad now, at least he is going to school and do good and have a good future.

A passage from pages #219-#220 that seems important is: "And I called the dog Sandy. And father bought him a collar and a lead and I was allowed to take him for walks to the shop and back. And I played with him with a rubber bone" I think this is cute because I can see that the father cares about the dog now and is nice to buy it a collar and take it out for a walk. I think the father changed and is becomming a better person and Christopher may be able to trust his father once again.

Another part that I disliked was: "And mother got flu and I had to sepnd three days with father and stay in the house. But it was OK because Sandy slept on my bed so he would bark if anyone came into the room during the night. And father made a vegetable patch in the garden and I helped him. And we planted carrots and peas and spinach and I'm going to pick them and eat them when they're ready." This is an example of something important in this book. It shows that Christopher is getting more close to his father and that his mother has the flu so he cant really get that close to her as usual. Christopher and his dad are spending more time together and I think that it is really good. They are getting together more often and sharing the connections together.

This section of The Curious Incident of the dog in the night-time reminds me of something that happened to me. One time I remembered when I had the flu and it was terrible. Having the flu is not a rally good thing and the flu is really contagious as well. I was just really sick and I couldnt move out of my bed, so it was really hard for me to do anything at all. I really felt so sick and it took me a week to get better.

This title was a good choice. I thought it was a guy named Christopher. The book doesn't seem that interesting. The face that there is a dog on the cover. An upside down dog on the cover just kind of creeps me out.

I agree with you Greyson

I agree with you Greyson about the upside down dog thing on the cover that creeps you out because that kind of creeps me out as well. I don't really like that because then it makes me know that someone killed a poor innocent dog and makes me want to kill that person back and pay for the revenge of who did it. I love animals and I cant watch an animal being killed or anything and it would get me really pissed because I have pets also and I don't want people hurting my pet. People should not abuse their animals because animals are human beings like us as well.
