3. I think that this quote is important because what Shan is saying is true. Life isn't a fairytale that is always happily ever after. I think I can relate to this very well because I always wish for gods things to happened to me, but with my bad luck and fortune I get the opposite of what I want. I think that there is n such thing as a hero because in the end there is no one to save us from or devastation.

I've read up to page 246. An interesting quote I found was “A world of "if"s, but it would make no difference. If I could go back in time... but I couldn't. The past was behind me. The best thing now would be to stop looking over my shoulder. It was time to forget the past and look to the present and future.” I think this quote has a lot of meaning because people always like to dwell on the past which is usually because something bad, upsetting, or anything else memorable enough to remember happened. I think remembering these things only make feel worse. So it's important to focus on the future and now because people can always start over and forget the past. Thinks and remembering the apst only makes harder on you. So I thought this quote was really important and could relate to the real world.
