Last Thursday, a 30-year-old woman from New Zealand died suddenly and it is now being attributed to her 10-litre a day addition to Coca-Cola. As sad and shocking as it may be it’s disgusting that people are still ignorant of the crap they put in there bodies.

Her partner quoted in the local newspaper the Otago Daily Times, stated “We would buy four 2.5 liters a day, the maximum on special. The Coke would be for Natasha to consume over the course of the day. The first thing she would do in the morning was have a drink of Coke and the last thing she would do in the day was have a drink of Coke by her bed.''

Her family is now considering suing Coca-Cola. Despite the fact I know they won’t win, it’s still astounding that people will try to push the blame onto anyone else but them. It was her fault for treating her body terrible and the family’s fault for not doing something about her addiction.

It was really astonishing to me that someone could loose their life to coke. Obviously, drinking that mass amount of coke each day was a very immature and unhealthy thing to do. Nowadays, people have to be careful on what they consume because incidents such as these, death, may occur. I think you are definitely right that suing coca-cola would not be successful because they should not be responsible of the amount each person drinks. They are only responsible for making a drink that is drinkable and can make money. Each person need to control their intake and i hope this article informs peoples of the dangers that can actually occur.
