The Color Purple

      So far what I have been thinking about my book is why would some of the characters in the story like the guy that Sofia was wit,and the girl that Harpo is with,why would they want Sofia to be working for the majors wife .I also am thinking would Celie ever see her little sister again.
              I am enjoying The Color Purple by Alice Walker because Celie is finally standing up to Mr____ .An example of what I mean is on page 200 "Nettie and my children are coming home soon.I say and when she do all us together going whup your ass".I think this is brave because finally Celie isn't letting Mr___ walk all over her anymore.
              We learn something interesting about one on the characters Celie on page 200 where it says "you was all rotten children ,I say you made my life a hell on earth ,and your daddy here ain't dead horse's shit".This is not typical of how this character acts in this book.So far she has always stayed quite to him and never do anything ,she would let him walk all over her.This quote changes everything now because she is finally standing up to Mr ___.
              So far the characters in The Color Purple remind me of characters in a movie.In The Color Purple it reminds me of a movie that movie is Cinderella .It reminds me of it because in the movie Cinderella .Cinderella she let her stepmother walk all over her ,and also tell her what to do and finally she stood up to all of them.In The Color Purple Celie used to Mr____ do whatever he wanted to her.HE used to tell her what to do and stuff like that .Finally Celie stood up to him .This is how both are similar .They both stood up to the bigger person.
             I am looking forward to reading the rest of the book because how everything is changing in the book is getting better . Whats probably going to happen next is that Celie is going to leave to go see her sister or not do what Mr___ tells her.
