The Color of Water sounds like another boring book again. I did not want read it yet but it seems to be one of those books that are supposed to be dramatic but turn out to be a very corny waste of time. The Color of Water sounds like The Color Purple except that the Color Purple wasn't as boring and it was actually an okay book.

All of the books I have read so far are mostly boring, they get me very frustrating but, I have to deal with it. I guess... This book says it is about a Black Man and then it says, "as a girl, I"... What the hell? Does that make a bit of sense? No it really doesn't! I've read a few pages and am thinking to myself, wow, how boring...

Turns out that this black person is Jewish and has a white mother but the mother calls herself light skinned instead of white. So, the mother apparently likes piano and bicycles... The bicycle's description makes it sound more like a motorcycle than a bike. In the book, it says the black people hate her for living in a black area... It is pretty funny though how the shes rides an extremely out of style bicycle... That's what they call it...

I feel bad for the kid, having todeal with stupid religious tradition... I doubt that in my life I have ever seen a black jewish person... Partially because I never ask about their religion... I think it's hard to imagine that.This book is not very interesting at all, it is basically about religion and race or something like that.

The boy has eleven siblings, which sucks too... I also think he cares about her a lot too... But how should I know, I can barely concentrate when reading this thing... Honestly, it is very difficult to concentrate on a book you do not want anything to do with and stuff like that... Agree with me...
