Cult Leaders

When flipping the channel I saw that there was a documentary about cult leaders and there influence on people and than I wonder do people have the influence to make other people kill each other? This topic is curious to me because it makes me think, can our age group influence one another to do something they don't want to do.Why do they listen to their leaders is it because of the fear, or because of the simple fact that they just want to believe in something so bad that they blind themselves to the point that they loose themselves and listen to whatever their leaders have to say?

A leader is suppose to be someone that guides you to a good path and where they try to help you through your problems. In this case a cult leader makes his followers do things that he isn't suppoose be making them do. Many cult leaders have been known for sending his people to kill other people or for them to peform his wildest dreams. The question is the people that listen to their cult leaders should they be excused for what they did because they were under the influence of one man or should they just be trailed like if it was any normal case can these people plea insanity and get away with a shorter time prison?

While searching about an article in cult leaders I found an interesting article http://www.level26.com/tlc_units/filter/3/288/1 Level 26 and in the article there was an interesting question that I wondered about: What kind of human being has the ability to get others to follow him without question, even to death, or murder so than I started to think and list down things that might cause a person to follow a cold hearted human being. My ideas were that maybe the person has a low selfesteem or that they fell in love or worship that person but can those things make a another human begin follow their leader to the point of killing for them. Cult leaders drag in their victims promising them happiness, love and joy its known that the underage group is most likely fall for the cult leader scam. We are the most vunerable because they believe that they could get into our minds faster and manipulate us much easier.

Can people manipulate other people to kill?

Omar-of course because they can trick their members by praising them, whatever they worship so if the leader tells them that they worship the same person it will make them do the stuff that they want their followers to do taking advantage of people. If your going to join a cult than you should deserve the punishment you get. Cult leaders are liars smart and want other people to get their hands dirty for them.

Shehrina(expert psychologist)- I think they,Terrisot group can manipulated their followers by financal means with helping their families also with God, Manipulate out of fear or religion or family crisis so they can be manipulated to kiiling other people. Revenge to kill them too if you heard someone's story emotional feelings.. When people are put into trail it depends on the person standing for trail some will plea guilty others insanity.

When I asked this question to shehrina and omar these were there responses they felt that people could be manipulated into doing things that they don't want to do out of fear or because they are promised something.

When we ask our parents for a new computer or laptop and they promise to give it to us with the condition that we will behave good and we listen to them. Is this the same thing with cult leaders and their followers aren't they promised something too only they are given isadistic ideas that maybe they are not fast enough to realize? The question are they really gulity because of listening to their followers and would that make them into natural killers?

The people that have been in cult groups have plea insanty and other manipulation but are all really manipulated or do they do things like this so they can feel part of a group.
