The Curious Incident

I think ,The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time by Mark Haddon is intense because so much is going on. So far the main character had kept me in tension to find out what is going to happen next. The book is really getting better and better as it goes by.

A passage from pages 168-206 that seems important is: "And then I heard the sound of feet and I turned round and it was another policeman, not the one who was on the train before, and I could see him through the door, in the next carriage, and he was looking under the seats. And I decide that I didn't like policemen so much anymore, so I got off the train." I think this is  interesting beause befoer he had said that he did like policemen but now he doesn't. I think that now since he is being chased by then he doesn't trust them anymore.

 Another passage that caught my attention was :"And Mother put her arms around me and said, "Christopher, Christopher." And I pusehd her away because she was grabbing me and I dind't like it, and I pushed really hard and fell over. And MR.shears said, "What the hell is going on?" And mother said , "I'm sorry, Christopher I forgot." And I was lying on the ground and Mother help up her right hand and spread her fingers out in a fan, so that I could touch her fingers.."This is an example of something important in this book. It shows how he was brave and stayed in the apartment his mom lived waiting for her. Also this thing with the hands and hpw she spread her fingers is a sing that its like sign language to them to say I love you. He doens't like to be touched by any one not even his mom.

This section The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time of  reminds me of something in the news. What happened was that a kid runned away from home and went to lived with his aunts and unlces thinking he would be better. But then he found out that it was worst because he had to work for them and do everything for them until the police found out and arrested his aunts and uncles.

What's probably going to happen next is that he will go back with his dad to go and do the MAth A. He is going to score a high grade and end up living with his dad.

I am  looking forward to reading the rest of this book because I'm almost finished with it so I want to just fininished it and ifnd out what is going to happen.
