The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time pgs 160-165

I would love to run away from home like Christopher does, but I have nowhere to go if I was to. I wouldn't like to be home because I have to do whatever my parents want me to do and I'm starting to hate it. I really don't want to do what they want me to do because I'm 15 and I think that I am ready to decide for myself. I can't wait until I'm 21 and leave this house ughhhhh.

I think The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time, by Mark Haddon is so suspensive because now Christopher has to run away from the policeman and not get caught by him so that he can go to his mother's house. I think that he can make it if the policeman doesn't find him. I am guessing that he would make it, but it would probably he hard for him though.

A passage from pages 161 that seems important is: "And then I did some maths practice in my head, solving quadratic equations using the formula: (the quadratic formula follows.)" I think this is genius like because first of all I really don't like math that much as I used to. I would never do math in my head when I'm nervous or bored, it sounds kinda nerdy but not a bad idea to waste time.

Another part that I liked was: "People belief In God because the world is very complicated and they think it is very unlikely that anything as complicated as a flying squirrel or the human eye or a brain could happen by chance. " This is an example of something important in this book. It shows that Christopher might or might not belief in God. Personally, I don't think that he exists because religion is something that stresses me out, so I guess I am fine being aetheist and I respect people for their beliefs and don't like to say anything against them.

This section of The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time reminds me of something in the news. What happened was that people in other countries have religious fights against one another for the wrong reasons. Like the people from Iraq or Afghanistan, I think that they should get over their pride and move on with their lives that way no one else get hurt.

What's probably going to happen next is that he will make it to his mother's house.

I am looking forward to reading the rest of this book because maybe the policeman will do a search with his father and go find Christopher again to take him back "home." ^.^
