The Curious Incindent Of The Dog In The Night-Time, by Mark Haddon is shocking
I think The Curious Incindent Of The Dog In The Night-Time, by Mark Haddon is shocking because there like 43 letters there for him and it made me think that maybe his mother is really alive and that his father is keeping the secret away from him. There is a strong possiblity that this can happen, but I am not too sure that this is true, as matter of faqct who knows what is going on.
A passage from page 103 that seems important is: "It sounds like white noise everywhere, which is like silence but not empty." I think this is a quote that makes people think because it's a well decriptive quote about the rain, but it does leave you thinking about it and depending on how you feel about it, you're opinion can derive.
Another part that I was amazed by, was: "Then I found a photo of you playing with the train set we bought for you a couple Christmas' ago." This is an example of something important in this book. It shows how much Christopher's mother really cares about him. I think that it's a mother's nature to care about their son because that how mothers are.
This section of The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time reminds me of another A Series Of Unfortunate Events. In A Series Of Unfortunate Events the children are surprised by the news that their parents died in a fire. It's similar to Christopher's situtation because he is slowly figuring out that his mother might not be dead.
What's probably going to happen next is Christopher's father will find out that he is looking through the letter that his mother left and they might have another arguement.
I am looking forward to reading the rest of this book because I want to know what happens with Christopher's situation. ^.^
