Digital Portrait

The sun is obviously a big part of this photo.  I was trying to use the backlight strategy, where the sun, or any other bright light in the background, accents an object in the foreground.  Because the actual sphere of the sun is in this picture, it adds the background simplified effect.  You can see that in the blurry outlines of the trees in front of the sun and the grass with the leaves blending into it.  The subjects hair is really bright and contrasts the relative darkness of the rest of her face.
