In this book, Sidda
Walker is reading the scrapbook her mother, Vivi, and her three best friends
complied when they were teenagers and kids. In the section that I read this
week, Vivi's three best friends come to vist Sidda to help her understand the scrapbook. They explain to her what happened wen Vivi "disappeared." She was actually at a hospital which wasn't ever directly said. They give Sidda a packet of ketters Sidda wrote vIvi and Vivi wrote to her friends. It was interesting the read Vivi's feelings about what happened after the fact. We always hear about people breaking down but only hear their voice after they are rehablitaed. It was cool to actually see the rehabitlation process through their own eyes
