Dracula Letter
As a project for the Dracula unit, we have to write a letter or a journal entry as Dracula himself, about an important event or occurrence in the book. I chose the night where Dracula sucks Lucy's blood in the churchyard and then Mina finds Lucy in the churchyard with Dracula bent over her. We really have to get into the role/character of Dracula and tell the story as he would, including thoughts and feelings, etc. This project is one of the few exciting and creative assignments we've gotten in English class this year and it is relatively easy to do. A page and a half to 2 pages is nothing, which is surprising coming from Dr. Mandler.
This project connects to myself because I have a journal and although I haven't written in it in a while, I have written about important events I've experienced so that I could remember in the future.

You have a journal? That's interesting. I used to have a barbie journal but i stopped writing in it because my brother like, popped open the lock and scribbled all over it =/ mind you he's 18.
Anywho, I agree ; This is sort of an exciting assignment and lets us understand Count Dracula more.
