Many people have there own opinion on who’s the best rapper right now some could say J Cole, some might say that is Big Sean, I say that right now I believe that Drake is the best rapper.Aubrey Drake Graham is a young raper from the city of Toronto,Ontario,Canada and started his career. Drake’s first break was a show named Degrassi: The Next Generation. Drake’s character on the show was named Jimmy Brooks a High School basketball star who’s play was cut short because of being shot by a classmate leaving him paralyzed. Drake left the show after being signed by Lil Wayne to Young Money in the summer of 2009. Shortly after Drake started working on his first major album Thank Me Later. The Album was so anticipated that “it debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, selling 447,000 copies in the United States in its first week”. The Album was so popular that it was certified Platinum with 1,000,000 shipments throughout the U.S.
The reason that I believe that Drake is the best rapper right now is because Drake raps about real life experiences that he has been through in his life. Like some songs of drake were made in thought of his Ex-Girlfriend that song being “Marvin’s Room”. Then they’re are some songs that he expresses the way the people view him like in the song “Headlines” both songs from his new album Take Care. Drake has always desired to work with Andree 3000, Nas,and shade. Drake was inspired by Nas stating “ Nas changed the game forever and inspired drake to start rapping.
My Favorite song from Drake would have to be his latest song “Headlines” Not because its the newest song. The reason that I like this song is because the song is that anything Drake puts out his fans know the song and Drake doesn't have to say anything. My favorite part from that song would have to be when he says”Cause I live for this, it isn't just a hobby like that When they get my shit and play it, I ain't even gotta say it, they know”. To me this is saying that other rappers take rapping as a hobby but Drake says he lives for rapping.

I liked your post, because I learned a couple things I didn't know about how other people feel about the rap/HipHop. For example, how you think Drake is one of the best rappers out there I would agree with you but I believe Lil Wayne is one of the best rappers out now. I understand how you can like Drake he has great songs.

You have to admit Big Sean has some good songs too I don’t really listen to Jcole but Big Sean has good songs.
Your post reminds me of how my little sister started to like a rapper I like and I used to get mad because she never even heard about this person before I started listening to that type of music and it made no sense to me but I guess she just wanted to be like me in a way.

I strongly agree with you about people having their own opinion about drake and other rappers. I dont have a favorite rapper i just like to listen to all types of music.

Another sentence that stood out for me was " Many people have there own opinion on who’s the best rapper right now." I find this true because i got I like all types of music and each artist get together and make a single that sounds good.

I like your post “Drake,” because it had a lot of information. Another reason why I liked your post is because I actually learned a lot from this post. One sentence you wrote that stood out to me is: “ the reason that I believe that Drake is the best rapper right now is because Drake raps about real life experiences that he has been through in his life.” This stood out to me because I also feel the same way, he raps about how he feels and what people are going through around the world.
Another sentenced that i liked was: “ Drake was inspired by Nas stating “ Nas changed the game forever and inspired drake to start rapping.” I like this comment because this is something I never knew. I would have never thought that Nas would be the one that drake looked up to. I would of thought he would look up to Lil Wayne because him and Lil Wayne basically have the same flow.
I think other people should read this because this post is interesting and is pretty debatable. I also think that they should read this because its is something that every one talks about who's the best rapper but got little to no information on them.

Your post reminds me of something that happened to me. One time people were always sayingt that Lil’ Wayne is the best and that J cole is better. But I think that Eminem is a pretty good rapper too. But since people have their own opinion then we really won’t know who is the best.

After listening to Drake you will notice that he mostly talks about his life. Unlike other rappers who talk about crap.
Your post reminds me of why I started to like rap. I started to like rap because of Drake and mostly Young Money. Drake will always be my favorite rapper because his raps about things that are going on right now. Even though the rap is not how it used to be; I still enjoy listening to Drake.
