Dream interpretations; My personal project
In the 10th grade, I am going to be doing a personal project. The project is going to be about dream interpretations. During the curse of the year I want to know how to keep a dream diary. I want to know more about how to interpret these dreams.
I have always been interested in the topic of dreams, and I think this is a great opportunity to get to learn more about dreams. I find it very interesting how the human mind works. I am interested in this topic because I want to know more about how dreams work, and what they mean, why do you have these kinds of dreams?

I am now reading a book
I am now reading a book called, " The book of dreams" So far I am up to page 56. This book talks about what dreams are about. Its talks about the background of dreams and saying how some people interpret dreams differently. Some people think that dreams are your spirits walking around while you are asleep. Others think that dreams are affected by culture, while others think that your dreams are affected by your religion and what you believe and not in your culture. It also states that it is possible to have two people dream the same thing at the same time. There are also dreams that predict the future. There are many types of dreams, which can be intrepret each of them differently.
I have been continuing
I have been continuing reading the book of Dreams. Something new that I learned that dogs also have dreams. There has been studies that there are different parts of a dream cylce. At times you are more deeply alseep than others. Also there is a certain time while you are asleep that you can wake up and still remember your dreams.
I have been reading the
I have been reading the book of dreams. I read that there was a man who went 15 days without sleeping and he started to hallucinate after a while. He started to see things, and accuse people of lieing to him. He said that he had already gone 15 days without sleeping. It only took him 13 hours of sleep for him to go back to normal state, but he did go through some depression for about a month. This shows that people do need to sleep, and that dreams are part of this sleep that they need. We don't know exaclty why sleep is necessary, but we do know that we need to have some sleep to not go crazy.
I think that this is a
I think that this is a really good idea for a personal project. It seems very interesting and I would be very interested in seeing your project. It seems really interesting because i know myself I have wondered before what my dreams ment and after seeing your personal project hopefully i will learn more about what dreams mean. Good Luck! =]

I think this is a cool topic that you chose! When I reading this I also thought about how dreams work and what causes them to appear... its an interesting topic. Good job!

Your topic seems very interesting. I would like to know more about your topic. xD
I agree with you because I
I agree with you because I also wondering how the human mind works yet I am not doing the same kind of project. I still think that the human mind works in so many ways and dreams seem to be the way to cross the very boundaries of time and space. For example, I have dreams of the future so I think that dreams do follow the supernatural that science seems to try to prove wrong.
Thats pretty cool, i watch a
Thats pretty cool, i watch a show called medium and its realy good. she doesn't interpret dreams but she does to prevent deaths and other stuff. the human mind is really big we only use like 5% of it so you should really really figure out what part of the brain makes us dream so you could just foucus on that part of the brain.
You're idea seems pretty
You're idea seems pretty cool. Do you know how you're going to go about doing the whole thing?

I have been trying to find a
I have been trying to find a new book on dream interpretations, but I can't seem to find a good one. Some books talk about how dreams have to do something with the subconscience while others state a different thing. I'm starting to get confused. I think that first you need to know about the history of dreams to be able to interpret dreams better. I kinda want to change the topic of my project but I'm not sure to what. I guess I am going to try to find more books on dreams while I figure out what other topic I want to do

This week I read a little
This week I read a little about ethics, I didnt really like the subject. This week end I will go to the library and look at other subjects. I still want to change my subject because I don't see how interpreting dreams is something personal, especially because this is a "Personal" project.
The library I usually go to
The library I usually go to doesn't have much variety on books about dreams. Today I am going to a different library, hopefully I find good books on dreams. I might just stay on my same topic, I am starting to get interested. I might just focus more deeply on one part on dreams.

I think that this is an excellent idea to work on and that you should continue what you feel is best to do for your personal project.
A dream journal is very important
Dear Mejia :
I am content with your post, "Dream interpretations; My personal project," because I myself find dreams intriguing yet complex.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: "During the course of the year I want to know how to keep a dream diary." I think this is enthusiastic because the first step of learning about dreams is to improve your dream recall. Dream recall is basically how frequent you're able to remember your dreams. By having a dream journal, you can write down dreams you've had in the morning (or middle-of-the-night) no matter how vague or definite. Those details are then put together -- like solving a puzzle. In this case, your dream.
Another sentence that I liked was: "I am interested in this topic because I want to know more about how dreams work, and what they mean, why do you have these kinds of dreams?" This stood out for me because because I've also been wanting to know how exactly dreams are conjured within the depths of the human brain at night.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because I'm also doing research on dreams for a project.
