People do drugs all around the world and people know it. People do drugs just because they want to get high and fit in with all their friends and everything. Like my friends they change and they fall under peer pressure into doing drugs. A lot of people fall under peer pressure into doing a lot of things that they don't want to do and then they regret it because they can not quit what they are doing. People are getting so addicted to drugs due to friends and family and it is harming themselves and also harming the people that love them the most. Why do people do drugs? They just want to be cool and be like every other person, but they do not realize what they are doing to themselves because their head is so into doing drugs that they cant live without it. Due to drugs people are suffering out there due to many diseases as cancer. Drugs damage your body, but not that many people see that. Drugs are addicting, but their is no reason to keep on continuing, you can always quit sooner or later because nothing is too late.
    Drugs are really dangerous and it can spread among other people as well. Drugs damage and pollute the earth as well and it is destroying our nature. Do people even see that? They don't even care what goes on and the world is coming to an end due to global warming. No one cares and no one seems to do anything about it. Its just like they want to just continue doing drugs and not care whats going around them at all. Do they not see who they are hurting, they are hurting everyone around them, the people that care about them the most especially their family. How would they feel if they lost a loved one. People just don't understand what drugs can do to you!! People have to stop doing drugs because it is causing damage among so many people.
    You should always protect your kid from any drug abuse at all. Kids and children should not get anywhere near drug abuse access or anybody who is dealing with drugs. You parents need to show your children what the good way is and not to influence them in a bad way. Children should be doing drugs in the first place and adults shouldn't be doing it too because it is showing a bad reputation among the kids and they will follow as well. Protect your children from drug abuse access.
    I am happy that the number rate is dropping and it did drop a lot kind of from 2005 to 2008. I think it should have been dropped down even more because that is 3 years difference. I think that the numbers should have been more lower and it shouldn't be that high to start off in the first place. 54,709 is still a really high number and it should be this high, in 3 years I think it should have dropped to about 40,000.     I am glad that these doctors are helping to stop the people are having alcohol and drug addiction all around the world and I am glad they are stopping it, but now they are no longer able to participate to stop it. Why are they not longer required? Who is going to stop the drug addiction and stuff. These drug addiction are killing people and we need doctors like these to stop all this and to help these teenagers and even adults to quit.     People shouldn't be doing drugs in the first place and drugs can lead to many harmful and dangerous things.     Drugs should be removed from the world forever and drugs should be created in the first place. Drugs is a really bad thing and no one should be doing drugs in the first place at all. Drugs damage your body and everyone needs to know that because you can die from it and you live a shorter life. Who wants to live a shorter life? Unless your life is a total misery. People need to understand and open their eyes and know why drugs are bad for them.

    People are pressured into doing drugs. Peer pressure is a bad thing and it is not a really good thing to experience. A lot of people fall under peer pressure which is a really bad thing because peer pressure can get you into a lot of trouble and makes you do the things that you don't want to do at all. A lot of people get pressured into doing drugs and then they regret it later. People should think before they do stuff and people need to see what they are doing to themselves.
     I do agree. If a worker is on a drug addiction or something or on the usage of drugs they should be kicked out because you don't know what might happen. That person might go crazy over drugs and do something really stupid that they don't even know that they are doing themselves. People who are working drug addicts should go get a treatment or something to help them quit and it should be required in every state to see if the worker is on a drug addiction or not because it is really bad for them and the people that work their and the customers as well.

    I think their should be a study youth everywhere so they should see which youth kids are doing drugs and whom are not. We need to protect these youth kids from them doing drugs or getting anywhere near a drug at all. Why are youth kids attending alcohol and drug treatment services? They shouldn't have to be taking these classes especially if they are young and they shouldn't be taking drugs and they know better. So much people get peered pressure into doing drugs and that is really bad. From drugs you can have mental problems and many issues as well. Like it says here 40 % have been state care during their lives which is meaning that they are being taken cared of because they are doing drugs and need medical treatment or they would not survive. Look at all the things that they have to go through when they take drugs. I hope these kids would learn a lesson.     I cant believe that Alex Rodriguez would do this and I can't believe I am hearing this about him as well of him using drugs, steroids. Steroids is really bad for you and it shouldn't be injected into anyone's body because it kills your body and your testosterone. Why was he taking these steroids in the first place when he knows that it is a bad thing and not allowed to be used in playing baseball. He is one of the most famous baseball players and people look up to him especially little kids and this is how he influence younger people? I think he is just a disgrace now and he is one of the best players and what he just did, I think he let his whole team down. Even though steroids give you stronger muscles and everything, it kills your body and you get addicted to it too like when you are doing drugs. Drugs like these shouldn't be done and it is a bad influence and showing a bad reputation against the younger kids. ...      A lot of people have been abusing their children and I think this is really sad and I wouldn't imagine a parent beating up their kid, it would be such a brutal site to watch. Parents should not be abusing their kids at all and they should be put in jail or something. There are other ways to scold your kids. I also think 70 percent is way to much for kids to be involved in drug abuse. Why are kids involved anyways in drug abuse? People should help save these children from all the drug abuse and it shouldn't be done by children at all.

Smokers show more of if they smoke or not because they are not likely to do the same thing as regular normal people who don't smoke at all. People who smoke have short term memory and are not capable to memorize most of the things they are doing. Smoking shouldn't be allowed and I don't know why it was created in the first place.
