Earth Photos

Part of our assignment was to find a picture from our google account descriptions and post it here. So... here goes:

The reason i picked this picture was the color and the light. For some reason, green seems to show up well on film and digital. Contrasting this with the white light filtering through the trees gives it a surreal feeling. This photo encompasses both the green underbrush of the forest, but still maintains the height attribute of the redwoods. Additionally, there is no solid background, it really just fades off into endless forest, which is clearly what the photographer was trying for. The quality of the photo is a given, but how this person managed to keep EVERYTHING in focus is amazing!
