On quake-stories one student named Amelia in class 3L at the Yokohama International School. Amelia keeps a personal account of the earthquakes in Japan (http://quakestories.wikispaces.com/3L). Amelia describes a event in which she was playing a learning game that she wanted to beat. She describes how the earthquake made her lose the game, but se was smart enough to stop the game and get safely under a table. This story was maybe the shortest account of the earthquake, but it describes avery important event. The earthquake making Amelia stop and lose her game represents a idea that the earthquake in Japan stopped many people's lives and caused people to lose many things including loved ones. This account also shows the effect of the earthquake and many people including children. How else did the earthquake affect children?
