The Essense Of Maine

I think I communicated the idea of Maine well through my photos by capturing the ideas of Maine being open, local, with ocean and boats, but not only that but also rivers and forests with no commercial buildings, but the old mill as the idea of classic Maine. I think that when you look at my photos Maine is clearly portrayed. Like the fishing boats sitting in the water, like they had just come back from a productive day, the reflection of the forest, serene and peaceful. The old mill, surrounded by natural wonder and the one of the shoreline, at low tide, perfect for clamming in Maine. I feel that even if you don’t know this about Maine, an out of state person could look at these and think, oh, Maine because they (the photos) are obvious, while still being creative. I think I communicated the idea well, there may have been some technical things that might have gone wrong, like printing, or the day I chose to shoot, but the message and subject of these photos is portrayed well and I can’t think of any better pictures I could’ve chosen.
