Existence of God

One sentece from the article that stands out for me is "...for existence is best explained by the existance of God."  I think this is really something to think about, because over generations, and customs and traditions, people have belived that we are the creation of God, and that we are in his reflection, and in his love.  We are his best work of nature.  But even though so much is said about us in the Bible, about our creation, we tend to come and destroy what God has created.  We kill each other, and we damage each other and hurt each other.  We are now seperated into nations, and into different religions, when we were meant to be together, and to be a part of a whole. What does that say about our spiritual belief that we a part of that existence?  Now science has investigated many other factors of our existance.  We have evolved over a period of thousands of years, and we have changed according to how the earth has changed, and that we are adaptable to a certain point to what our earth has changed with our ancestors existence. 

 

Another sentece that I liked was: "There are suggestions that other definitions of God are self contradictory."  I like this sentence because, I believe with all the other religions that exist in the world, there are many defenitions of what God, is and what they believe he is all about.  These defenitions are all different in many perspectives, which cause them to contradict each other. Since each definitions com from each different religion, they end up being different in seeing what it means.  I also think that sometimes in the holy books, there has been some conflicts with contradiction in the rules or spiritual guidelines that people should follow.

 

Well in this article there can be many errors or it can be filled with many truths.  In this article all I read is people's opinions on the existence of God, and like I said before, there is no concrete evidence that he does not, or that he does exist, and all of the people are just following tradition and custom over a period of many generations.  Maybe the only error that may exist in this article is the simple fact that they are questioning that if there is any God in general, and that if there is something that created eveything that we see now what is going on, and what is going to happen in the future. 

 

What may be an error for me personally is that "Science" should not be getting involved in this kind of stuff, and if it is, they should be more gentle with this kind of information towards the people.  And also that "religious" people should be mostly worrying about their religion instead of trying to to convert everybody in the world, because if they do that, they will push people away, like when the church gets involved in the state, and our politics.

 

I learned from this article that there can be many truths, and all I want to prove in this right now, is the reasons in which one should believe, reasons that are 100% true, and reasons in which people should not believe in anymore that are also 100% true.  I will look to see how this article changes in the future, because like in the past people were much more religious, now people have lost many faiths and are now sticking to science for help. I want to see how much that changes, and at what rate it is changing over time.  I want to see if religion 1000 years from now still exists.
