There are many differences between men and women. The most common comparison is our physical appearance. Second there is different thigns that we all need. Women has their own things that tweaks their minds and set them on a rampage. Not only that is different ,but we also have many dreams that we can chase. That is what separates us from each sex.

Zora Neale Hurston thinks that men put down of women. Women in this books seems like they are put down and, they are not cared for and no one can give them what they want. This is from a woman's point of view in the book. Women, according to her, are not being able to meet the standards of men. They seem to be commanded, but if you keep reading the book it does not seem that way.

I disagree with Zora Neale Hurtson. Also, I do not feel that women have a disadvantage in most civilized societies. This book takes place in America, where women had to fight for their rights, but now they have them, but some women are stilled ruled by their mans, so I believe that its their wrong choices that put them in the situation they are in like Janie. Currently, we are treated equally, and I think that women who find that they are ruled by man are their own wrong choices that they make.

"Ships at a distance have every man’s wish on board. For some they come in with the tide. For others they sail forever on the horizon, never out of sight, never landing until the Watcher turns his eyes away in resignation, his dreams mocked to death by Time. That is the life of men. Now, women forget all those things they don’t want to remember, and remember everything they don’t want to forget. The dream is the truth. Then they act and do things accordingly.." I feel that this paragrapgh is not true. Men do not only think of women and having them for their own needs. Also women dont always chase their dreams sometimes they wish to not live them because they are too hard to deal with.
