First Vocabulary Search

If someone was to run up to you any yell, “Oh my god, you halcyon person, you are so full of probity.”, you might think that they are upset at you. Actually who ever is saying that really likes you. Basically  halcyon means that you are peaceful and probity means honesty. Now these words I found in a vocabulary list that was suitable for people who are eighteen years old. I don’t know anyone who would actually talk like this. The site I was looking at to find this information was the  web site http://www.majortests.com/word-lists/word-list-11.html , which is a site with a database of words each age group should know.
    Now when I started this search I was thinking I was going to try to get some hard hitting fact about students performance on different tests, but then I got distracted by the actual vocab quizzes themselves. I thought that instead of looking at the data someone else collected, I would make my own and see how well I did. Well, I didn’t do too well. I only knew about a half of the words. Next time I will have to see how others will do on these vocab tests.
