The Five People You Meet in Heaven

I finished reading the book The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom and it tells the story of Eddie the maintenance man who works at Ruby Pier. The story begins at the end with Eddie dying on his birthday trying to save a little girl, however it really is just a new beginning. Throughout the story Eddie meets five different people in heaven, each had some connection to his life and played an important role in it even if Eddie didn’t know it at the time. Also throughout the book the author tells different shots of Eddie’s life. All on his birthday and all until the day he dies. Eddie learns a lot of new things about his life that make him see it in a different perspective.
I will remember that everything is not as it seems because until Eddie wen to heaven and met these people he would have never realized what had happened in his life. Sometimes there might be an event in your life that you didn’t think about too much but there is a significance. Everything happens for a reason.
I would recommend this book for someone else to read because it is an interesting book to read, it is a page turner and it was well paced. The story didn’t go too fast or too slow for me so I was able to enjoy it. There wasn't a conflict in the book but the lessons Eddie learned are interesting. The things he found out were shocking but when you out all of the pieces together it does make sense.
