Flag

On our second photo walk, I took this photo right outside our high school, before we went back inside. I wasnt really sure what to expect, but I pointed my camera carefully and tried to capture the most interesting image possible with the subject at hand. This turned out to be one of my favorite photo of the walk - I was captivated by how the angle at which I took it defined it. This angle was interesting overall, but even the lighting was altered - one of the most unique things about it, in my opinion, is the way the sunlight is present everywhere above the American flag, while the flag itself and the marble are dark and cold. I suppose that this picture might be interpreted as having some sort of political opinion, though thats not what I intended at the time.
