Food poisoning = $8.3 million?

Recently, I read an article about a girl who got food poisoning from eating a meal at KFC. She then fell into a coma and has permanent brain damage. Her family sued KFC and won, earning $8.3 million. And although it is very sad, and I have no doubts that the family has experienced huge amounts of suffering, but I don't think it was worth $8.3 million. I think that America has become a place where people are so focused on reaping benefits out of any situation that they can't move on from adversity. And instead of growing as a family, the girl's family spent countles hours being too focused on the money they could potentially earn. http://worldnews.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/04/27/11425684-kfc-told-to-pay...

After reading this article, I feel that this is tragic because of the fact that you can go into a coma from eating a certain thing is crazy. My opinion of this story is that food companies should first look at what they put inside of their food and test, if for approval to make sure that it can be sold for the business sake and for the consumers sake. People should know what is in their food and trust their judgment
that they can go out and eat and not have to risk something like this. I hope that this girl is better and next time, I hope KFC will make sure that nothing like this ever happens again.

Among all the detecting activities, gold detecting is the most interesting one. It can not only relax both our mind and body, but also give us a big fortune if we are lucky enough. Next time when you feel bored, you can pick up a gold detector and have a try.
