Fostering Animals

For my service this year I am fostering cats. On Saturdays I have to drive them to Petsmart so they can be looked at, then I pick them up on Sundays if they are not adopted. Each weekend I see some of the same animals from the weekend before, but I also see new animals. While this makes me happy that these new animals were taken off the euthanasia list, it makes me sad that there are still animals that are put to sleep.
Kittens and puppies are cute, but I cringe every time I hear someone say "When my cat had babies..." When you get an animal it should be spayed or neutered to reduce the animal population. If there were fewer animals they wouldn't have to be euthanized just because there isn't enough room in the shelters.
Along with our two pet cats and a dog, I am fostering two cats. Since August four of my foster cats have been adopted. The two we have now are my favorites. If we didn't already have two pet cats I would adopt them. Everyone at No More Homeless Pets in Utah does so many great things for
