Four Years Worth of Knowledge

I have learned a lot in my high school years. I had no idea I would be able to acquire this much knowledge in four short years. I have learned about math, science, English, Latin, theology, social studies, and many other elective classes.

In the subject of math, I have learned more than I could ever remember. I have learned geometry, algebra II, pre-calculus, and honors calculus. All of these classes have taught me infinite mathematical solutions and theories. I could never take a math class again and be set for life.

I have learned many sciences. I have taken chemistry, two versions of biology, and anatomy and physiology. All of these classes have taught me very different things about science. In chemistry, I learned how to mix chemicals. In biology, I learned about the natural world and how it works. In anatomy and physiology I have learned about the build of the body and the function of all of its parts.

In English, I have learned how to set up essays and pieces of writing. I have learned more vocabulary words than I can remember and I have learned how to express myself through writing. I have learned how to produce a piece of writing to be published; one to express how I feel to the public.

In Latin, I have learned much of the Latin language. I have also learned much about mythology and about how much of English comes from the Latin vocabulary.

Four years of theology has taught me a lot about my faith. I have learned all about the history of the Catholic faith and about how to treat others right. My faith has strengthened through these classes.

In social studies, I have studied geography, history, and economics. Geography has taught me how to better know where I am and be aware of things around me. History has taught me all about the rising up of our world. Economics has taught me how the government and businesses regulate money and trade.

Amongst electives I have taken in my four years are yearbook, physical education, yoga, drama, and psychology. All of these classes have taught me exactly what I thought they would. I learned how to produce a successful yearbook on the yearbook staff. I learned how to stay physically fit in P.E. I learned how to become one with myself in yoga. I learned how to act in drama. And I have learned all about the human mind and how it works in psychology.

There is no limit to the amount of material I have learned and understood in these last four years of my life. I never dreamed of learning all that I have.
