Game: Mario Party 5

Components: This is a gamecube game (which can played on the Wii now).  There can be up to four players in the game.  There are a variety of characters you can choose from, not just the very well known ones, Mario & Luigi.  The video game is like a board game played on T.V only a 100 times better.  Each space on the game either benefits or harms the character.  Along with just spaces on the game there are mini games.

Game Space:  The game was made to be played on the gamecube, but now its compatible with the Wii.  Like previously mentioned, it is a virtual board game.  There different locations you play in.  Virtual dice have to be rolled just like a regular board game.

Rules:  After everyone has chosen their character, and the place which they want to play in, a die will appear above each characters head.  Its going to be rolling fast and each character will decide when to hit it.  The person that landed on the biggest number, they go first, and so on. (the game can also be played tag team, meaning 2 vs. 2)

After the order of players has been made, the game begins.  In order of the players, they roll the die and move the amount of spaces according to the number that was rolled.  If the space they land on is red lose coins, if its blue you gain.   Each person initially starts with 10 coins.  If you land on a bowser space, he would come to you and take away stars or give you a mini game. If you land on the same space as another player, you will have to battle them.  The winner takes a certain amount of stars and coins away.  After all players have gone for a turn, a mini game is chosen randomly and played.  Depending on who achieved the most points in the mini game, gains the most coins.

Goal:  The goal of the game, is to gain the most stars.  You'll also get points for:
-the most stars
-the most coins
-the most amount of time landing on blue/red
-landing on mystery spaces (special games)
-wins of mini games or battle games
-stealing the most stars/coins

Even if you lost in all the other things, if you gained the most amount of stars (which can sometimes be randomly in spaces depending on the place you chose), you win the game.
