give the homeless change they can actually use

my personal project is about the homeless. the area of interactions that i chose are 1) community and service and 2) homo faber.one of the questions i had about my personal project  is that can ambition drive you to poverty and if so what are the consequences? the purpose of having homo faber as an area of interaction is to develop opportunities for us to appreciate humamn kind and the capability to create, invent,transform enjoy and improve the way of life. in order to answer my question i will have to research the topic throughly.
